DEDICATORY CONCERT - SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4, 2009, at 4:00 p.m.
Richard Morgan, Director of Music Ministries and Organist at St. James Church, Upper Montclair, will present a dedicatory concert on BPC’s new Walker American Classic Organ. Richard is formerly Director of Music and Organist at BPC and prior to that served for 25 years as Organist and Choirmaster at St. Peter’s Church in Morristown. He will be presenting a concert of music including works by Bach, Franck and Widor. In addition, the program will include several works demonstrating the organ’s capability of reproducing rich orchestral ensemble and solo sounds. The concert is free but donations will be gratefully accepted to support the Organ Acquisition Fund. Light refreshments and an opportunity to meet the organist will occur immediately after the program has concluded. For further information, please call (908) 735-5733
